Beaumaris Lake Open Space Rehabilitation
Construction Update
We had a successful 2020 construction season with the year one scope wrapping up in
January 2021. The project is progressing on time and on budget! In 2020, we completed the
ground and concrete work in the west and east parks, reconstructed the viewpoints on the
north side, started the south side viewpoints and installed new light poles.
After a winter break when construction activities were limited, year two construction will
begin in April 2021. This includes continuing work at the west and east parks, viewpoints
and areas along the trails. We will continue to make every effort to maintain trail access for
users, however, when work is occurring on a portion of the trail, detours may be in effect.
Fencing will remain in designated work areas to ensure public safety.
